The A48Y Series Safety Valve is a high-performance Spring Loaded Full Lift relief valve designed to protect pressurized equipment from dangerous overpressure. Featuring a Manual Lifting Lever for regular testing, it is available in Cast Steel (WCB) or Stainless Steel and is widely used on steam boilers, air receivers, and industrial pipelines.

Features
A full-lift flanged safety valve with a manual testing lever, providing rapid overpressure relief for steam and gas systems.
✅Full Lift Action: Designed as a Full Lift type (opening height ≥ 1/4 throat diameter), allowing for a massive discharge capacity to quickly relieve excess pressure, making it superior to Low Lift Safety Valves for large volume vessels.
✅Manual Testing Lever: Equipped with a Packed Lifting Lever that allows operators to manually open the valve to verify freedom of movement and clear debris from the seat, meeting boiler safety code requirements.
✅Open Bonnet Design: The open bonnet construction exposes the spring to the atmosphere, dissipating heat effectively and preventing spring relaxation in high-temperature Steam applications (up to 450°C).
✅Precise Blowdown Control: Features adjustable blowdown rings that allow technicians to fine-tune the Reseating Pressure (difference between opening and closing pressure), preventing valve chatter and reducing product loss.
✅Durable Sealing Surface: The disc and seat are hard-faced with Stellite (CoCr alloy) or ground stainless steel, providing exceptional resistance to steam erosion and ensuring a tight seal after repeated popping cycles.
